Airtable MCP ServerDominik Kundel

MCP server for Airtable that lets AI agents read and write records, list bases and tables, inspect field schemas, and run filtered queries. Ideal for turning Airtable into a lightweight backend or knowledge base that agents can manage conversationally.

1.3k
Astra DB MCP ServerDataStax

DataStax's official MCP server for Astra DB, a serverless database built on Apache Cassandra with native vector search. Lets AI agents create and manage collections, insert and update records, and run similarity and metadata queries, making it a convenient backend for retrieval-augmented generation and agent memory workloads.

Pinecone Developer MCP ServerPinecone

Pinecone's official MCP server connects AI assistants to Pinecone vector databases for retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows. Lets agents create and configure indexes, upsert and embed documents, and run semantic searches over vector data — all from natural language, without leaving the editor or chat.

0
Cloudflare MCP ServerCloudflare

Official Cloudflare MCP server for managing Cloudflare services. Enables AI agents to interact with Workers, KV namespaces, R2 storage, D1 databases, and DNS records. Supports deploying Workers scripts, managing environment variables, querying analytics, and configuring security settings across Cloudflare's edge network.

Algolia MCP ServerAlgolia

Algolia's MCP server for interacting with the Algolia search platform through AI tools. Lets agents run searches against indices, inspect and manage index settings and records, and review analytics and monitoring data using natural language. Useful for building, tuning, and debugging search experiences powered by Algolia.

Skills vs MCP servers

what’s the difference?

Skillsthe “what to do”

A skill packages know-how — instructions, an example prompt, and recommended models — so an agent performs a task consistently. Skills add knowledge, not new connections.

MCP serversthe “how to connect”

An MCP server gives an agent new capabilities by connecting it to real systems (databases, APIs, files) over a transport. MCP adds connections and actions, not task instructions.

Rule of thumb: reach for a skill when you need the model to do a task well, and an MCP server when you need it to reach a tool or system. They compose — a skill can rely on tools an MCP server provides.
